SWEET INNOCENCE

Had a wonderful time designing this layout. For the word "sweet"I embriodered on a sample piece of red fabric I had , and then cut the letters out.The "innocence " I embriodered on another sample piece and stuck that straight down after using pinking shears on edges.I just cannot help using fabric with the paper . They seem to compliment each other and you get more textures to your page.I hope you enjoy viewing this as much as I enjoyed do it:}

WHY WASTE

When wrapping a gift ,and the paper is too wide, cut apiece off fold the edges in neatly then sew all around to make a belt to wrap around your gift.Stamp on a piece of cardstock, cut out and attatch to belt with ribbon and you are ready .You could even make a buckle or add a flower:}

CREATIVELY ORGANIZED

It is cooling down over here in South Africa so now is the time to start cleaning out cubboards and organizing messy sewing rooms. I have started by collecting various glass jars and decorating some,then filling with buttons,ribbons,flowers ect. All these I will arrange on shelves so at a glance I can find what I want and be inspired by all the colour and textures around me:}

Some Bunny is Hooked on Easter...

Had some white fluffy fabric in the cupboard just waiting to be stitched up ! Could'nt resist making a bunny. Her furry neck warmer was croched from lovely bits of wool I found in my stash. The string of hearts are some beads I found in a local shop today.
